Every resident signs the house covenant on day one. The rules aren’t punishment — they’re protection: for the man keeping them, and for every other man whose recovery depends on this house staying what it promises to be.

What is the difference between a sober living home and a halfway house?
The terms are often used interchangeably, but they differ in important ways. Halfway houses are typically government-funded, may be tied to a criminal-justice mandate, and often set fixed time limits. A sober living home like ours is privately operated, residents choose to be here, and a man may stay as long as he is meeting the house standards and working his plan toward independence.
Do I need to complete a treatment program before moving in?
No. Many of our residents arrive directly from residential or outpatient treatment, and that step-down path is one we strongly support — but it is not required. What is required is a genuine commitment to sobriety and a willingness to live by the house covenant from day one.
How long can a resident stay?
There is no fixed limit. Research on recovery housing consistently finds that longer stays support stronger outcomes, and most men benefit from several months of structured living. A resident remains welcome as long as he stays substance-free, meets house expectations, and keeps moving toward his goals.
What does it cost, and what does the rate include?
We charge one transparent monthly rate with no hidden fees. It covers furnished housing, WiFi, cable, all utilities, on-site laundry, and the full house program — community life, employment readiness support, and life-skills coaching. What are the house rules?
Complete abstinence from alcohol and drugs on and off the property, participation in house meetings and chores, curfew, respect for every resident, and consistency with random screening. Guests are welcome in common areas during designated hours; overnight guests are not permitted. The rules exist for one reason: to keep this home safe for every man in it.
What happens if a resident relapses?
Safety of the household comes first, so a resident who returns to use cannot remain in the home while actively using. We handle it without shame: we help him connect with detox or treatment resources, and the door to return is open once he is stable and recommitted. Relapse ends a chapter, not the story.
How do referrals work for case managers and discharge planners?
